We are so thrilled here at Lighthouse to announce that our Cycle of Change program recently won the City of Playford Local Hero Award for Best Training Program.

This award recognises an organisation who has put in place an outstanding and responsive engagement or training program that has delivered positive results for people in Playford Alive.

We couldn’t be happier that our work helping upskill and motivate disengaged kids towards a brighter future has been recognised in this way! Yewww!

LYP launches Video Biopic

Over the last six months, the team at Lighthouse has been working with boutique Adelaide production company, [Run Wild Productions](, on a project we are super excited to finally share with you.

The team at Run Wild have hit the road with the LYP crew to capture what we do, and how our work helps disadvantaged youth build on opportunities for a better future for themselves.

They've joined us at Cycle of Change; at Concrete Sessions; they've interviewed some of the past and present kids we work with; our mentors who ride and engage with these kids, from all walks of life, who are part of our programs. And of course Jamie and Ryan have chatted extensively with the film crew about what lead them to found Lighthouse Youth Projects in the first place and the vision for the future. This video captures the essence of who we are, collectively, at Lighthouse Youth Projects and why we do this work.

Sharing where we've come from and what we hope to achieve has really solidified for us how the nature of what we do can affect positive change in communities around us.

We are so excited to share the results and launched both the video and our new look website for our stakeholders at an event on Sunday November 25 at the rooftop of The Unley to a great response.
