Wheels To Work is our regional initiative as part of the Regional Employment Trails (RET) program. As part of Wheels to Work we deliver our GET STOKED workshops to unemployed and under-employed people aged 15 - 25 years.

As regional areas struggle to retain young people within the community and create meaningful employment the RET program is designed to deliver:

  • stronger connections between regional stakeholders, including employment services providers
  • tailored employment initiatives that meet local needs
  • improved awareness of local labour markets
  • the potential for improved regional employment outcomes

The focus for our GET STOKED workshops is on teaching riding and mechanic skills as well as facilitating engagement with local employers, providing career information and the potential to connect with mentors.
